| We are an online community of dog, cat and bird lovers and their friends. Our members are a diverse group of owners, breeders, rescuers, trainers and groomers. What binds us together is our love for our pets. We share our stories, ask questions, exchange information, debate issues and offer support and empathy to others in their times of need. FurKids.net is a very supportive community covering a wide range of topics such as pet grooming, conformation, pet health, and nutrition. While we hope that you'll become an active participant and join in the discussions on our numerous message boards, you're welcome, of course, to simply hang out silently until you feel more comfortable posting a message. The position of FurKids.net is one of support for Responsible Breeding. If you post that you are a breeder, please do not be surprised when you are asked some fairly detailed questions about whether you show, do health testing, offer lifetime take-back guarantees, etc. Such questions should not be taken as an attack, but rather as an expression of our concern for the protection and well-being of the breed and of the pets that we all love. Additionally, the owners and members of FurKids support animal rescue, pet adoption, and the spaying or neutering of all companion animals.
