Opposing colours for outfit?

I am going to drive you guys crazy, here is a silly question.
When showing Crosby (he is a light apricot std poodle) I was thinking for an outfit (I am looking now) that the colours that may best highlight his colour would be burgundy, navy or black.

Just wondering!

I like the burgundy idea, if you can find one in a rich, wine shade.

I have an apricot jacket I wear with a burgundy blouse under it (it has lace cutouts I want to highlight) and it's a really nice combination, but it took some looking to find the burgundy/wine that did the trick!

I though that would be sharp. I would love to find a pant suit in that colour. I saw a suit the other day that was just sweet, little blazer and tulip skirt to match, pockets, perfect for running around the ring, crouching and bait but it was a brown with an apricot colour of thread running through it! lol

The burgundy is really nice. Diesel is a light Apricot and his collar is a nice shade of burgundy and it looks really good on him, so I can only imagine what a Burguny suit will look like.

Im gunna throw in the ball here and say BLUE...

Somewhere between light and Royal blue or red lol

I wear a Green suit "aka the Kermit the frog suit" when showing my dogs now and I show a Cream Afghan...

My Dream suit is PINK!!!! one day i keep telling myself

Frankly, I'd be inclined to go with green (complimentary to red, so it makes most apricots look redder rather than cream-er) or blue, or a really rich dark purple if you can find one.

All of the dogs I show right now are black (well, tricolor or black) so I wear a lot of khaki. ;P

Nothing to be scared about, I like the colour pink and not afraid to wear it...

Other's would...

I call them Closet Pink People..

But when showing pick a colour that compliments your dog, Trashy colours can make a dog look trashy too, smae with trashy clothes

if you have a light colour dog don't pick out pale colour clothes it blends with the dog, same theory goes with Dark dog and dark clothes... Oh and one thing i hate to see at a dog show is Fluro... Common people the 80's are gone leave it where it belongs

I used to be one of the Noobs that wore a Charcoal coloured suit with a black dog hahahahah not anymore... Im looking at getting a either a Pink or a blue suit next to show in...

prob. wont be until around Xmas or just after, as thats when all the schools have their fancy outting lol

and thats the only time coloured suits come in

but yep normally when i post show results im in my suit of that time lol

I change colours when i show a different dog nearly

Charcoal with pearl and then my Cream coloured suit for Lestat and My afghan Imy and Now green for my other 2 afghans :P
